Our Councils
The councils of North Warwickshire, Nuneaton & Bedworth, Stratford on Avon and Warwick have submitted their preferred option for local reorganisation for Warwickshire. The councils have collaborated on an interim plan that sets out two unitary authorities (north and south Warwickshire).
This reorganisation would:
- Simplify services for residents, businesses, and partners
- Boost efficiency, saving nearly £20 million a year
- Deliver devolution and economic growth
- Protect vulnerable people and get support to them sooner
- Keep councils connected and accountable to local communities
